Founded in 1985, Daesung Celtic began selling traditional European-type gas boilers, 2.16RSc with technology acquired in the same year it was founded from the French company France Chaffoteaux et Maury Co.. In 1989, its sales reached 100,000 units and in 1993, for the first time in this industry, it achieved sales of 500,000 units.
Daesung Celtic, with its company ideal of customer-satisfaction and safety, introduced the concept of BS, or Before Service - visit consumers before they ask to the Korean business scene for the first time. Free gas leakage inspection and free replacement of safety valves were provided to consumers who owned the five-year old first FESEV models since sales began in 1996. Also, nationwide safety inspection of FES models was provided for seven months, October 2002-April 2003, covering about 80% of the all products sold (The remaining 20% was due to absence of the owners for such reasons as both husband and wife being co-breadwinners). This inspection included a variety of safety measures such as internal wiring condition, gas leakage, PCB, burner ignition safety, etc.
Daesung Celtic's Before Service was possible thanks to its complete computerized location information on products sold nationwide. Including Jeju island province, computerized information by each of about 200 agents including model, date sold, customer, details of previous services and dates is maintained.

| In July 2004, the new-concepts e-best and we-best were introduced. The core technology of e-best is not only in its condensing system, which recycles heat before it is exhausted using a second heat exchanger, but also in the new-concept "recycling system for emitted gas," developed through Daesung Celtic's own research, that completely overcame the problems that the existing condensing method had.
According to the result of Korea Gas Safety Corp. (KGS) performance measurement, e-best's greatest strength is that it recorded heat-efficiency of 87.5-88.9% at maximum burning and 107% at minimum burning, providing an annual fuel-saving effect of 25-35% compared to other products. As a result, it received a certificate from Korea Energy Management Corporation (KEMCO) for its high-efficiency product.
we-best is a well-being type gas boiler with all the features of e-best but with the addition of a water-softener function. Unlike existing water softeners that can be used only in the bathroom where it is installed, this one can be used anywhere in the house and provides four primary water-softening effects: First, prevention of skin-aging, elimination of heavy metal substance and undesirable substances, preservation of lustrous hair and prevention of skin diseases.
Second, passes through water heated at 90 degrees Centigrade producing near hexagonal water, a perfect water.
Third, built-in filters for sedimentation and pre-treatment eliminate harmful substances contained in the water supply to contribute to healthy living.
Fourth, it indicates when it is time to change filters, which anyone can do in five minutes.
